  • Yahoo people will invade us soon as Yahoo pulls our content onto their pages: “As we pull Tumblr content into our news feeds and our media experiences, it will cause the core Yahoo properties to become that much more interesting and that much richer,” leading more users to the site even if they are from “very different [demographic] profiles from people coming to Tumblr.
  • Ads are coming: Yahoo might allow individual Tumblr users to enable ads on their blogs, “but that would always be done with the blogger’s permission.”
  • Yahoo!’s personalization technology: Dashboard will display what Yahoo! thinks we like and hide what it thinks we don’t like.
  • Yahoo!’s Search Infrastructure: Yep, Search will now be powered by Yahoo! It might look like this (Warning: Lots of work from home scam ads)
  • Logo will probably look like flickr logo: image

There should be a age warning before tumblr loads on a web browser. 

It feels awkward this morning using Tumblr because I am not actually using tumblr I am using Yahoo!
